RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Our goal is that our customers are pleased with their purchases from Bedford Cottage/Kennebunk Home. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or exchange. Please note that all requests for returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of order delivery and require prior authorization from customer service. All merchandise should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Return requests for defective merchandise or factory error are to be made within 30 days of order delivery.
Variations in Color: We make every effort to accurately represent the colors of our throws on the website. However, we cannot guarantee an exact match due to variation in monitors. Variation in color(s) is not considered defective merchandise.
Natural shedding: Some of our throws will shed depending on the nature of the yarn.
Small pulls & tied ends: Slight pulls and/or tied ends are inherent in the individual craftsmanship of some throws. Most small pulls can be relieved by pulling slightly in different directions on the fabric surrounding the pull.
We make every effort to process orders quickly for our customers. Orders may not be canceled once the order has shipped. However, you may refuse the merchandise upon delivery and your return will be credited less all applicable shipping expenses.
CREDIT FOR RETURNED MERCHANDISE:
Refunds are processed within 10 business days once the authorized return or refused package(s) has been received by Bedford Cottage. Refunds are processed in the form of a credit to the credit card used to make the original purchase.
All order shipped to the continental US (not including Alaska) are shipped via UPS ground service at a flat rate of $4.95 per order. Expedited shipping at an additional cost may be requested by calling customer service.
Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or to foreign countries, including Canada, will be charged actual shipping rates. Please call customer service for details.
Original shipping costs are not refundable unless our customer service department determines that the merchandise is defective or a factory error was made. In such cases, the shipping expense to return the item will be covered or reimbursed by Bedford Cottage, as well as the shipping cost to replace the defective item(s) or correct the order.
Shipping costs for exchanged items not due to defect or error are paid by customer.
